What Is The Most Popular Flower For A Funeral?

There are no specific flowers that can be used for a funeral. We can cater to any of your requests as all flowers are suitable. But, if you want to know which flowers are popularly used as funeral flowers, you can take a look at these flowers:

Roses

Roses are among the most popular sympathy flowers. In fact, giving a rose is a universal language for letting someone know that you love them. So, if you want to show love to your loved one that passed or to the bereaved family, give them roses.

Lilies

Some people are arguing that lilies are more popular than roses when it comes to funeral flowers. Lilies, especially the white ones, are symbols of peace. They are even considered in some cultures as the symbol of the innocence restored to the person who passed away.

Lilies are also elegant-looking and have a calming scent, which makes them perfect as a sympathy flower to the family members of the deceased person.

Daisies

Daisies mean that you are bidding your genuine and heartfelt farewell to the person who passed away. Many people around the world place daisies on the graves of their loved ones to tell them that they will always keep them in their hearts.

Furthermore, daisies are a symbol of youth. So, if the person who passed away is still young, you will commonly see the presence of this flower in their casket.

Orchids

Orchids represent your everlasting love for the person who passed away. Their unique beauty is considered a sign of “returning to nature,” which means that when one life ended, another one will begin.

Irises

This flower is often seen on caskets of soldiers. This is because irises represent valor, faith, respect, and hope.
